This System follows the ART-TREES standard (Architecture for REDD+ Transitions – The REDD+ Environmental Excellence standard), with the main product being the Summary of Compliance with Socio-Environmental Safeguards of the REM MT Program. In this way, within the scope of the REM Program, it was possible to support the preparation and reporting of the 1st Summary of Socio-Environmental Safeguards of the State of MT. Among the actions that are planned to take place is the elaboration of the State Environmental Education Program, which is a fundamental instrument for the Superintendency of Environmental Education and Citizen Assistance – SUEAC of the State Secretariat for the Environment to implement public policy and be able to contribute to the objectives of the REM MT Program in disseminating information to promote environmental conservation and training in climate change and socio-environmental safeguards. In this context, other actions already planned will be three types of training courses on Climate Change and Socio-Environmental Safeguards for representatives of Traditional Peoples and communities and family farmers from different municipalities in the State of MT to be carried out by SUEAC, within the scope of the Institutional Strengthening Subprogram and Structuring Public Policies – FIPPE of the REM MT Program.
